Description
The Adriafil Tintarella Sintra pullover kit is worked seamlessly from the top down on circular needles.
Start at the neck edge with a rolled hem, then garter stitch neckband and continue in stocking stitch with raglan increases to the under arm.
The sleeve stitches are left on hold and additional stitches are cast-on for the body under the arm, then worked on circular needles seamlessly down to the hem.
The sleeve continues by picking up the corresponding cast-on stitches from the under arm and working on circular needles to the cuff. The colours are changed at the beginning of the round as required.
Sizing: S (M, L, XL), Neck: 44 (48, 52, 56)cm, Bust: 96 (104, 112, 120)cm, Length of garment: 68(69, 70, 71)cm
Sleeve length from neck edge to wrist: 54(56, 58, 60)cm, Length from armhole to hem: 54cm
Sleeve circumference at wrist: 28(30, 32, 34)cm – Bell Sleeve.
Yarn: Adriafil Tintarella Egyptian Cotton mercerised 133m/50gm, Dark Blue/MC #60 x 2(3, 3, 4) balls, Burgundy/C1 shade #62 x 2(2, 3, 3) balls, Military Green/C2 #61 x 2 balls, Turquoise/C3 #63, Pink /C4#64, Yellow/C5 #66, Peach/C6 #67 x 1 ball each.
Needles: 3.25/3.5mm small circumference circular needle or double pointed needles (DPN’s). 4mm x 40cm(sleeves) + 4mm x 80cm (yoke + body) circular needles. You can also use magic loop method for the smaller circumferences of the neck, sleeves and cuffs.
Tension: Using 4mm needles 22 sts and 26 rounds over 10cm x 10cm.
Stitches: Garter stitch in the round: Purl 1 row, knit 1 row. Stocking stitch: Knit all rows.
