Life in the Long Grass is an independent, artisan studio based here in West Cork.

The name tells the story of owner Caroline Niland and her partner Jonny who found a run-down farmhouse in the Irish countryside and made a home there after several fast years in London and Ibiza working in design.

Life in the Long Grass was born from Caroline's love of knitting and painting and as a way to represent the beauty of the landscape around them. This vibrant and independent artisan studio is as committed to creating rural employment as it is to capturing the beauty of West Cork in exquisite, high-quality yarns
